Worst Prototype EVER?

Okay, I’m going to keep this really short

This prototype is probably one of my worst ever …in my personal opinion.

You’ll see what I was trying to achieve – but it just didn’t come out right.

I didn’t spend much time on it (and it shows!) …oh, and it’s also around a year old …been sitting gathering dust …literally.

I’ll keep quite now and let the photos do the talking:

So, as you can see…

It was meant to be a slim headphone holder – but, well, it’s just a bit odd.

Look how bunched-up the cable is. It’s not even close to working.

Thought I’d show you – just for fun. ūüėÄ

Might work with thinner headphone wires that come with “in the ear” type.

  • Bud says:

Looks like the Pi symbol. Could call it the TiPi?

  • klyph says:

To many sharp protrusions for a pocket carry it will poke holes in pockets and pants and skin.

  • Shaun Cruz says:

I like it. Maybe add a hole to add a split ring and hookup clip.

  • Robert says:

It has its’merits Magnus. For one, you produced a vision you had (maybe a bad dream lol!!). Nonetheless, it was an idea that you made in 3D. Just needs a few tweeks which you will figure out I’m sure. It’s a great concept that just needs further refinement. ūüėČ

I think that it has potential with a bit of tuning? I would definitely buy a couple as I get so annoyed untangling my headphones on a daily basis?

  • Michael says:

As someone who doesn’t use headphones, I can’t attest to the functionality of something like this, but it certainly looks cool. Additionally, I though of another idea for a possible product. Sometime’s we’re in situations where carrying an EDC knife would be detrimental to our social standings, by which I mean we’d get in trouble. However, in school and the office and such, no one looks down on a pair of scissors. If you made a pair of small but usable Ti scissors for EDC and utility, I think that would just be revolutionary. Some people cary EMT shears, some carry keychain scissors on a swiss army knife, but no one makes dedicated quality Ti EDScissors.
