Titanium Lanyard Beads

If you already have a ViperFish™ then you’ve got one of these titanium lanyard beads (yeah, I know, don’t tell anyone …I give them as a surprise *bonus* when you order a ViperFish™).

Here’s the thing…

I’m thinking of designing and making a few more of these.

But I really have to gauge the interest first …because there will most likely be a fairly high minimum quantity required to make it feasible.

Here’s a stone-washed titanium lanyard bead on a Prymal™ pry-bar:

And here’s a polished version of the same bead: (…it’s come out very poorly in the image – but, trust me, it’s incredible in real-life)

So, yeah, that’s really all I got today for you  😀

If they’re popular …then I make them. Simple.

  • David Smith says:

Finally!!! Wanted you to make some of these for a while. You should do some with trits installed as well that would be sweet.

  • NotesCoder says:

Probably, and with the ability to install two or three trits, perhaps with a “screw-top” design for easy trit replacement, almost certainly.

  • Herbert says:

I would probably get some, would you get them anodized also?
(i have a blue-silver one from the ViperFish)

  • Robert says:

Yes, please make lots of these! I’m good for at least 5!

  • Mike Gallwey says:

Again I need some of these Magnus!

If you make them, people will buy!

If they are reasonably priced I’d take 13 << my fav number.. Lol

  • Stephen says:

Look great! Looks like they acommodate 2 strands of 550 cord. That’s good. Am in for several, depending upon price. 🙂

  • Hal Foster says:

Yes I would buy some depending on the pricing.

  • William says:

    Yes count me in also.

  • Gusto says:

Yup, Count me in and consider passing on the savings for quantity purchases 6 or a dozen.

  • Rory says:

I would totally purchase some of these too! Peter Atwood, of Planet Pocket Tool, seems to use the scarcity business model. Even though I find it a bit frustrating, it is, I am guessing very effective for him. With the quality of your goods, I can see you getting there soon as well.

  • Bob R. says:

    I would buy them.

  • Simon says:

I’ve been looking for some Ti beads with the same finish as my prymal and hangkey. I have a different project and will need about 15.

You make them, I’ll take them.

  • Peter Caldwell says:

Yes, I would like 5 or more. It doesn’t matter if they are polished, unpolished or anodised.

  • Hi Magnus,

I like those, and for a reasonable price I would buy them to.
    Thanks
    Peter

  • David Smith says:

I have two already lol 2 viper fishes ha ha one anodised one not. I prefer not but the anodised is nice. Both top quality so yeah depending on price I’ll take 6 to 12

  • Rob says:

I’ve got a lot of uses for these!

  • WOW!

Thank you so much for all your comments …I am DEFINITELY making these now. Cool!

I had no idea there was such interest in lanyard beads.

Honestly, I don’t use them personally – so I probably have a bias there.

I am going to have to do a little more research into them to figure out sizes and such.

Look out for a post soon where I’ll look for your input. Honestly, I think I need YOUR guidance for these.

Thank you again for your comments. Greatly appreciated.

  • Bob Haas says:

I would love to buy five or so of these beads, either polished or with a satin finish. Love them for knife lanyards.
