Make Your Own Titanium Pocket Tool (TUTORIAL) – Part 3
It’s as easy as clicking ‘Print’…
Because we’ve already done the design, turned it into 3D and exported it to .STL there really is nothing else to do.
We simply open the 3D-Printer software and import the .STL file.
Now, because we created our tool with exact dimensions, these same dimensions are kept when we import it into our 3D-Printer software.
We’re choosing 0.3mm thick layers for printing:
A “base” layer is printed first before the actual object is printed (the object then peels off from this base layer)…
The video above goes into a lot more detail like how it functions and what we need to change. But, for the most part, that’s us done.
